Ralph Pennel
Everywhere I Have Not Written
It takes up so much
of the page.
But, it does not
end there.
It has filled your
hands
And my hands
too.
This is not
how I
envisioned
the world:
so much, so
unaffected
by these
words
as if
we are
gazing
on stars
or anything
that
still reaches
us
through so
much
from so
far.
