Lara Mimosa Montes is a PhD candidate in English at The Graduate Center, City University of New York. Other writings have appeared in Triple Canopy, BOMB, Bone Bouquet, and elsewhere. She is currently at work on her dissertation titled The Strains of Confessional Poetry and teaches at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design.
