Tim J. Brennan

Existence

Wind has returned to him,
a sun, granules of salt

There can again be rain
on a newly planted field

and a flock of starlings
will re-circle to roost
before another storm

Our earth can hide many things,
even the bones of a child

But never the tears
of a parent

Tim J Brennan’s poems have appeared in Talking Stick, Green Blade, The Lake (U.K.), Sleet, and many other nice publications. Brennan is a former winner of The Great American Think-Off and his one act plays have seen the stage across the country including Rochester and White Bear Lake MN, Bloomington and Chicago IL, Bethesda, Colorado Springs, and Milwaukee, among others.
