Cameron Morse
On the Rocks
I can rock back
and forth
a little
in the tightening
network
of ligaments
to restore blood flow.
I can wiggle like a tooth.
Far below my blue
toes feel
impossibly distal
trotting along the shore
line without their owners.
Finally my clock says
how long I have
forgotten to look at
my clock, my wife calls.
The lost ubiquitous
dropped hair of her is
sewn into in my neckline.
