Tasha Cotter

Red Bird

Some shudder goes

Through her brown body and out

As she is fed by the red bird.

That seed, the beginning

And the end to her quakes.

She alights on a wire, waits

For him and soon, yes, again

She gives that bird permission

And I see them through glass

As one body eating.
